Why Use an Independent Appraiser?

If you work with a lender, they will hire an appraiser to investigate the house that you are interested in purchasing.  The appraiser they hire works to save and protect them, which means, they will know how much money the lender expects to lend you.  Also, a staff appraiser or associated appraiser may be facing unnecessary pressure from a variety of sources to affect the value of the home.
